Veronica Writes!
I’ve always been inspired by a well-turned sentence, but there is a magic about words-to-paper. First, they create a thought. Then, a presence begins to take form, which becomes a character. Soon, your creation begins to enlighten you, and if willed to be, then others.
About
the Author
Born in a town too small to contain her dreams, Veronica found life painfully lonely at the end of that long, winding country lane. As a shy and introspective child, she was a silent observer, eavesdropping on the world and weaving intricate tales in her mind. Her feelings became the lyrics of unsung poems, epic sagas that only she could hear.
At college, she stumbled upon the works of English poets and the rebellious prose of Beat Generation writers like Kurt Vonnegut, Jack Kerouac, and J.D. Salinger. Their words ignited a fire within her soul, and she emerged forever changed, awakened to the power of language and the beauty of storytelling.

Testimonials
[When the Sun Was a Winged Bird] is not for the faint of heart but is near textbook for anyone caught up in the addiction-codependent-enabling relationship... I appreciated that Dion, the hopeless alcoholic is not betrayed as a demon, but is recognized for his deep ability to love and be loved. You will find yourself rooting for him.
[Cowgirl Fairytales] is an interesting story. It has a little mystery, a little humor, and some interesting developments. The book has intrigue, nostalgia, and a little local color. The book is written in such a way that the character seems to be relating her personal life events. It was a pleasure-reading book for me. I enjoyed it.
I ordered [Cowgirl Fairytales] because I was captivated by the cover and the title. However, when I started reading it I was initially disappointed because it read like a trite romance novel. Was I wrong! Keep reading. The story gets better the further into it you go.
